Our Grandfather, Patriarch, guide and mentor passed on January 23,
2007 due to a very aggressive cancer he discovered about a year
prior. I was in Iraq when it was discovered and it was a very
difficult time for both of us and our entire family. He made me a
promise that he would be there when I got back from my deployment,
and he was.
Four months after I returned from Iraq, "he passed quietly,
surrounded by peace and love." He was with one of the strongest and
bravest women that I know, his loving wife, my Grandma Myrna, the
moment he went to heaven. Please take a moment and visit the page
