I am very proud of my family history and where my family has come from.  We all have a very diverse background and have been all over the world.  Both sides of my family are extremely big.  I am the oldest grandchild on both sides of my family and the oldest child in my immediate family.  My relationships are unique with both sides of my family because they offer different aspects and perspectives on life.  I am very fortunate to have two loving families but two very different cultures.  They both have made me a better, stronger person and who I am everyday is a balance between their unique qualities.

I am huge sports fan.  I enjoy most sports, but my favorite by far is baseball.  My dream job would be to work for a baseball franchise.  I also enjoy other sports like basketball, football and NASCAR.  When I was in Iraq I found UFC and boxing to very entertaining.

I have had a wonderful military career for seven years and am very excited about our transition out of the military.  The Army has allowed me to see the world that I might not otherwise have been able to.  The Army has allowed me to grow as a person and leader and made possible the success I encountered at my conference in Austin by providing me leadership and functional experience.

I am proud father of Claire.  She is my angel and joy.  Claire is why I continue to grow, to show her and be an example for her how to be the best person you can be in your life.  I am also the proud father of Chase, our son.  He truly provides hope and inspiration in my life.

I am also a proud husband to Kecia.  She is my best friend and companion.  Without her none of this would be possible.  She has such patience and is so giving, she is a wonderful example to me and to Claire.  Her sacrifices she made while I was in Iraq are something that I will be indebted to her for life.  Our relationship has moved on beyond love and that is why I love her so much.

I truly believe in leadership and what it can do for people that need it.  We, that are leaders need to create an environment where we can motivate and influence our followers through principles.  We can be more effective if we earn credibility by being a subject matter expert in our field.  We also understand that an drop of honey brings more bees than a gallon of vinegar, therefore we must stay positive and friendly.  We must also be able to give back more value than we take.  But when we do take we must ensure we are taking something of value away from those that we lead.  This is why I did my Masters Degree in Human Relations, to become a better leader, make a difference and leave a legacy of leadership behind.
