Kecia Lee Freschi

2.                  Were you named for someone?
A fashion model from the 60’s-70’s

3.                  Do you go to school? And if so, what grade?
B/A in Liberal Arts from California State University, Sacramento and CA Teaching Credential from National University.

4.                  Do you have a job? If so, what do you do?      
Domestic Engineer of a 2200 square foot structure with 4 occupants.

5.                  Name one thing you love about your job or school.
Being a mommy; watching my children prosper and grow; being able to see things through their eyes.

6.                  Name one thing you hate about your job or school.
Being on call 24/7; can be trying at times however persevere with love and determination.

7.                  What kind of music do you like best? What singer?
Various types – Rock, Alternative, Pop, R&B, Jazz, Classical. Right now I am listening to Robin Thicke and Michael Buble on CD and Milwaukee has a great Alternative radio station and Jazz radio station. I know, it sounds ancient- people still listen to radio and CD’s.

8.                  What’s your favorite TV show? Movie?
Secretly enjoy watching some reality shows, however I would say Grey’s Anatomy is at the top of my list as TV favorite. For fav movie, that is a tough one – When Harry Met Sally and Jerry Maguire.

9.                  What are you reading now? What’s your favorite book?
Right now, I am reading a couple of books - Mary Mary by James Patterson, The Everything Catholicism Book, and What to Expect When You’re Expecting (as a refresher in this pregnancy stage). Really do not have a favorite book.

10.              If you have a hobby, what is it?
I love to bake and cook, especially with Claire. I enjoy making people happy through their stomachs.

11.              What do you like to do when you can do anything you want?
Just veg out, sleep, read a book and/or magazine.

12.              If you’re into sports, what kind, what position, etc?
Into watching sports – Baseball, Basketball and Football.

13.              Name three things that you’re interested in and would like to do, or read about, or learn about, etc?
Started my dabbling in scrapbooking and have embarked on my journey to becoming a Catholic.

14.              What is your favorite meal, start to finish?
A good Texas Roadhouse meal of a house salad with Bleu Cheese dressing, Prime Rib cooked medium with horseradish sauce, a baked sweet potato with butter, and their warm yeast rolls with cinnamon butter. For dessert, it is off to Cold Stone Creamery for a Candy Land ice cream (Cake Batter ice cream with M&M’s, Kit Kat and Snickers pieces). Yum-o!

15.              What’s your favorite toy?
I would say the DVR (Digital Video Recorder) feature on our TV.

16.              Do you have a pet? Tell us about it. No pets

17.              Name at last one thing you’re good at.
I would say baking my chocolate chip cookies and pretzel treats called Hugs and Kisses in a Snap.

18.              What’s the most fun, most important, or most special thing you’ve done in the past year or so?
Many things – Special being having another child, Important being starting our civilian life after the military, and Most fun taking Claire to Disneyland.

19.              What’s your pet peeve?
Whining, followed by unaware drivers as a close second.

20.              If you could change something in the world, what would it be?
Bring our troops home from Iraq and find a peaceful resolution in the Middle East.

21.              If you could meet in person anyone you choose, living or dead, who would it be?
Oprah Winfrey

22.              What do you want to be doing 10 years for now?
Continue raising our family as well as back into my career field of teaching/working with children.

23.              Who do you live with?
My hubby and best friend, Dan, our daughter, Claire, and our son, Chase.

24.              Does your family have a special family tradition you like?
Prayer and the clanking of our drinking glasses with the saying of “Salud” or “Cheers” before our dinner.
